All these novellas, front covers pictured in the gallery above, will be published by our short-short fiction press Ad Hoc Fiction, by the end of November. Our winner, Don’t Tell the Bees by Mary Jane Holmes, the two runners-up, if there is no shelter by Tracey Slaughter and Sugar Mountain by Erica Plouffe Lazure and four specially commended The House on The Corner, by Alison Woodhouse, Stormbred by Eleanor Walsh. When it’s not called making love by Karen Jones and Something Lost by Louise Watts.

Currently the novellas are either on preorder or already published at Ad Hoc Fiction and available at the bookshop. from Amazon in print and kindle and some directly from the authors. Above, the titles are linked to the fascinating interviews by the writers. There’s such an interesting variety of styles and subject matters within these seven novellas. And at the launch party the writers will talk more about them and read a story from their books. Do come along to listen! As usual, with the launches we organise, there will be short reading sessions interspersed with break-out groups where guests can chat with flash fiction friends and family from around the world. We will hold a raffle of Ad Hoc Fiction anthologies on the evening and anyone who buys one of the novellas on the night, will get a free Flash Fiction Festival tote bag (which could become a collectors’ item!). We hope you would like to come.See you there!
