We’ve been running this Award since 2015, three times a year after the very first award. It amazes me, sometimes, to realise the competition has been going for so long, particularly when I remember we have 170 winning flash fictions published since the beginning on the winning pages of this site and around 1350 flashes in print within the ten anthologies published so far. So many great flashes of 300 words or under by writers from around the world. There are fabulous interviews too, on this site from winners and judges where you can learn so much about writing flash.

Some have entered every single competition since the beginning and new writers have found the Award each time.
The reading process is well under way. And we expect a very busy day. It’s always exciting. Thank you to all for your ongoing support.
