We nominated pieces for Best Small Fictions last week and here are our nominations for Best of the Net. We’re eligible this year to submit in two different categories (CNF and Fiction). We’ve submitted two CNF pieces from the flash fiction online contests published on flashfictionfestival.com in January, 2026.
and two from our BFFA winners list in February and June this year. Congratulations and Best wishes to all!

The Two Creative Non-Fictions are ‘Swim’ by Ingrid Jendzrejewski which won first prize in the November 2025 online day and was published on the website in January 2026
and ‘Fish Girl Summer’ by Erin Bondo published on the same page as ‘Swim’, on the website.
