We aren’t eligible to nominate for Best Microfictions because they do not accept stories that will be published in print hard copy, but this year we can add two nominations for the inaugural Monarch Queer Literary Awards. ‘Mannequin Body Parts’ by Finnian Burnett was published in June 2025 in The Constancy of Woodpigeons (BFFA Vol 9) and ‘The Inspection’ by Cole Beauchamp in the Flash Fiction Festival Anthology, Vol 7.
